Community Server 2.1

Community Server 2.0 to 2.1 Upgrade Guide now available

Visitors to the site will have noticed that it was finally upgraded to Community Server 2.1 over the weekend.

The procedure I used was recorded and is now documented and available for registered users of the site to download here

Upgrading this site went without a problem, for those of you who have been holding off upgrading I hope this document will give you the confidence to attempt the upgrade.

Please remember though, do not do this unless you can create or obtain a backup of your database and site files as you have no possibility of backing out the upgrade should things go wrong.

I don't see how anyone could possibly do this upgrade without your documentation.
